All players should meet their managers 30 minutes before their scheduled game time near the Bullants banner on the playing fields on the western side of the courts.

Due to the COVID restrictions SCNA is still operating playing zones. It is important everyone on your team understands the entry and exit zones for the courts as shown below:

The great news is that the BBQ/Canteen will operate on Monday evenings for the NSG and Junior time slots. Again, please note the entry and exits zones if you wish to partake.

Bullants Netball

Hi Bullants Community,

Winter Netball Presentation Evening this Wednesday

The committee has been working hard behind the scenes planning a great evening for this Wednesday’s Presentation evening. Please remember to come along at your usual winter training timeslot (seniors excepted, who will join the Inters).

Net Set Go & Juniors Go – 5.00-5.40
Juniors – 6.00-6.40
Inters & Seniors – 7.00-7.40

There will be a presentation for all teams of their Players Player and coaches awards with distancing on Court 2, followed by snack bags and games on each team’s regular training court.

Snack bags so prepared so far…

Reminder if you haven’t already RSVP’d please do so by no later than Monday (12/10/20) on this link:

Uniform Sales

The uniform shop will be open this Wednesday night for anyone wanting to purchase a dress in time for Twilight netball competition or next winter. Shop opening times: 5.30pm-6.00pm and 6.30pm-7.00pm. Also, if you have a second hand uniform to sell, please bring it along with your bank details. We buy good condition second hand dresses for $40.

Did you know we have just 7 people on our committee arranging 25+ teams? We are all working mums, juggling our many commitments. Many hands make the effort required lighter for all. We encourage you to get involved, especially if you are a Dad – our gender diversity is lacking! We could use your help preparing kit bags for winter and summer, drawing up rosters, arranging presentation evenings, attending SCNA meetings, selling uniforms.  Nothing is hard, just takes your time.

Come along to the Bullants AGM 4pm Sunday 18th October (via zoom) – you will be very welcome!

Twilight netball – Team Managers

All teams need a Team Manager. Please consider putting up your hand for this role. The Manager simply puts players into positions and, if you want, give players feedback. You are responsible for the kit bag – bringing the ball and bibs each week. We will be emailing team lists in the next day or so, and it would be great if you could indicate then if you can manage your child’s team. Unfortunately, if teams don’t have a Manager they will not get a kit bag, which the committee sorted out this afternoon….

Kit bags, ready to go!!

If you have any questions, please email us at

Bullants Netball – Winter Season Celebration and Twilight Comp

Hello Bullants families,

As previously advised, our winter netball end-of-season celebration is a little different this year. Only players and their coaches/managers will be able to attend due to COVID restrictions. It will be held at the Deakin courts on Wednesday 14 October, at your usual training time (except for seniors who will join the inters at 7pm). We will have awards presentation and fun activities. As we have to prepare individualised snack bags we would appreciate if you would RSVP by Saturday 10 October via this link: We hope you can make it.

Planning is well underway for the twilight comp, and we are hoping to announce teams early next week. We still need some Year 3 players, so if you know any budding netballers in this age group, get them to register and/or contact us at

Bullants Netball – Twilight Comp

Hi Bullants families,

Thanks to all who registered for the twilight comp. We have begun sorting players into teams and there is a slight shortfall in the following age groups:

Year 3 – NSG Set on Monday
Year 4 – JuniorsGo on Monday
Year 5 – Juniors on Monday
Year 7/8 – Inters on Tuesday
Adults – Senior Ladies Comp on Tuesday nights

If there are any winter season players in these age groups who have not registered for the twilight comp, the registration portal ( is open for the next couple of days (closing Tuesday 6/10). Alternatively, if you have a friend who may be interested in playing, get them to register.

We hope to confirm team lists with everyone by the end of this week.

Netball is a winter sport

Good morning Bullants families.

Last games today and in keeping with netball being a winter sport it is cold at the courts this morning. Make sure to wear long sleeves and leggings under your dresses. Parents and supporters, rug up!!

Dear Club,

We are nearing the end of the winter season. Well done to all the players, coaches, managers, umpires and supporters. It has been a terrific season with major improvements in skills and lots of fun – despite the COVID situation. This Saturday is our last winter game.

Bullants have been asked to provide gate monitors for most time slots this week, please consider helping if you get asked by your team manager. Please also nominate your player players.

Remember we will have our season wind up on Wednesday 14 October, at your usual training time. We will have awards presentation and fun activities. It will just be the players due to COVID restrictions.

Summer competition starts second week of term. Our registrations will close on a hard deadline of 30 September.

And lastly, remember the motto, players play, coaches coach, umpires umpire and supporters support.

Have fun everyone.
